Why Selasih Finance

Learning That Respects Your Journey

Estate planning can feel complex and emotionally weighted. Our approach is structured to lower that weight — one clear step at a time.

Malaysian Law, Made Clear

All course materials are grounded in current Malaysian legislation — the Distribution Act 1958, Faraid, and relevant civil ordinances — without requiring prior legal knowledge.

Advisor Access Included

Every programme includes direct consultation time with a partnered estate planning or shariah advisor — so questions receive considered, professional answers.

Multilingual Materials

Glossaries and printed materials are available in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin — so every family member can follow along comfortably.

Sensitive Topics, Handled with Care

Our facilitators are trained to guide discussions around death, inheritance, and family dynamics with composure and respect — never rushing, never dismissing.

Both Civil and Islamic Frameworks

We address wasiat and hibah alongside civil wills, with a partnered shariah advisor available for Muslim families navigating Faraid and Islamic estate tools.

In-Person and Online Options

Group sessions run in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, with fully online participation available — accommodating your schedule and location.

Common Questions

Questions We Often Hear

Do I need any legal background to enrol?

No prior knowledge is needed. Our introductory course is specifically designed for people who are encountering estate planning for the first time. All legal terms are explained in plain English, with multilingual glossaries provided.

Are the courses suitable for both Muslim and non-Muslim Malaysians?

Yes. Our programmes cover both civil wills and Islamic wasiat and hibah. Muslim learners will receive guidance on Faraid principles and access to our partnered shariah advisor. Non-Muslim learners focus on civil estate planning under the Distribution Act 1958.

Can family members attend together?

Family participation is actively encouraged, particularly in the Family Legacy Planning Programme, which includes monthly sessions designed for multi-generational attendance. Group sessions in other programmes also welcome spouses and adult children.

What is included in the consultation sessions?

Consultations are held with partnered estate planning advisors — not sales staff. You may bring specific questions about your assets, nominations, or family circumstances. The advisor will guide rather than instruct, leaving decisions in your hands.

Is the programme available entirely online?

The Practical Estate Planning Workshop includes an online participation option. The introductory course materials are provided digitally, and consultations can be conducted via video call. The Family Legacy Programme has both in-person and hybrid formats depending on your location.

How do I know which programme suits me?
