How Selasih Finance Works
Estate planning education at Selasih Finance is structured around a simple principle: each programme should leave learners better equipped to act than when they arrived โ not better informed about the difficulty of what they face.
Context First
Sessions begin with the legal and cultural context relevant to Malaysian families โ civil and Islamic frameworks side by side โ so learners understand the full picture before making choices.
Application to Your Situation
Learners then work through how the general principles apply to their specific assets, family structure, and wishes โ supported by document templates and private advisor consultation.
Tangible Output
Each programme ends with a concrete deliverable โ a reviewed estate plan, a family planning binder, or at minimum a clear action checklist โ so the work done in sessions translates into real progress.
Programme One
Introduction to Wills and Wasiat
A four-week beginner course for adults 40 and above who wish to understand the basics of estate planning under Malaysian law. Covers the difference between civil wills and Islamic wasiat, the role of Amanah Raya, basic intestacy under the Distribution Act 1958, and Faraid principles for Muslim families. Sessions are delivered in plain English with Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin glossaries, alongside printed take-home materials.
